Directions to the Tree Sit
Take Hwy 224 east from Portland, and drive through Estacada (go slow speed trap!). Continue for approximately 2 miles up a large hill, and near the top turn left onto Fall Creek road. Then take a left on Divers road, turn right onto Squaw Mountain Road, and continue approximately 7 miles (past all the houses) and turn left at the fork in the road. Drive to the locked gate and park. Walk/Bike/other? down the road for about 4 miles. When the road forks, stay to the right, and continue another mile to the tree sit. The trail to the sit begins in the clear-cut 100 yards before the old growth stand and is marked by a plastic jug.
